Building Products
January 11, 2012
Grey Mountain Partners of Boulder, Colo., has acquired Columbia
Commercial Building Products of Rockwall, Texas, according to a
January 11 news release. Columbia is a manufacturer of high-performance
extruded aluminum windows and store fronts for new and replacement
construction. The company also is one of the few aluminum fabricators
that pours and de-bridges its own polyurethane structural thermal
barriers.
"We are thrilled to add Columbia Commercial Building Products
to our family of security and architectural glass manufacturers,"
says Beth Lesniak, vice president of Grey Mountain, in the release.
"Columbia will allow us to provide an even more diverse range
of product solutions to our customers and opens the door to synergies
and cross-selling opportunities among the existing glass fabrication
businesses in our portfolio."
Grey Mountain recently acquired Custom
Components of Tampa, Fla., Global
Security Glazing of Selma, Ala., and Binswanger
Enterprises LLC of Memphis.
