Grey Mountain Partners Acquires Global Security
Glazing
January 4, 2012
Grey Mountain Partners of Boulder, Colo., has acquired Global Security
Glazing (GSG) of Selma, Ala., according to a January 4 company news
release.
GSG was previously owned by Michael D. Hartley, who also owns Standard
Bent Glass and Coastal Glass Distributors.
"Global Security Glazing is a leader in its niche, serving
a wide variety of customers from around the world that operate in
several end markets that require highly-engineered ballistics-grade
and custom architectural glass solutions," says Beth Lesniak,
vice president of Grey Mountain, in the release. "We will continue
to invest in the future of GSG, entering additional markets through
new product development and strategic acquisitions, while also enhancing
the company's asset base. The heightened focus on safety and security
for government buildings as well as the increasing demand for energy
efficient glazing solutions represent growing market needs that
GSG is uniquely suited to address."
