Zero International of the Bronx, N.Y., has announced that Jerry Heid, AHC/CSI, has been promoted to vice president of sales. Heid had previously served as national sales manager since 1999.

In his new role, Heid will continue to oversee all U.S. sales of the company's specialized sealing systems for doors and windows. He will also have sales management responsibility for the specialty rubber and plastics extrusions manufactured by the company's subsidiary, Ind-Ex Inc.

"Jerry has achieved great results with a sales strategy that builds on Zero's unique strengths and uses our resources most effectively," said Elias Wexler, president. "This promotion recognizes his important contribution to Zero's consistent sales growth and continuing expansion."
