Westcrowns Inc. of Ocean Isle, N.C., has hired Bill McClenahan as its Western regional sales manager.

"Bill has devoted his career to the marketing and manufacturing of specialty architectural products," said Geoffrey Card, president. "His extensive knowledge, experience and leadership will help build and expand our marketing efforts."

McClenahan has a mechanical engineering degree from Duke University and a masters from Temple University. He also has experience as a Naval officer, and for more than 15 years worked for a U.S. aggregate panel manufacturer, culminating in serving as president of the company and minority owner of the business. Prior to joining Westcrowns in March 2004 McClenahan began and built a sales company for a Munich, Germany-based manufacturer of specialty and OEM photoelectric sensors.
