Westcrowns Inc. of Shallotte, N.C., has announced the opening of a second regional U.S. distribution center by the end of the month. Serving the west coast, the new location will be in Oakland, Calif., and will be called Westcrowns Norcal. Joe Hardman of Hardman Glazing will run the operation.

Westcrowns Norcal will supply Profilit™ channel glass products from Bakersfield, Calif., to the Oregon border and from Reno, N.V. to the coast. The facility will also focus on supplying and installing materials for small to midsized residential and commercial projects.

Westcrowns Inc. is a member of the Westcrowns Group, which designs and supplies Pilkington Profilit™ translucent linear structural glazing systems.
