The board of directors for the Window & Door Manufacturers Association
(WDMA) has announced that Alan J. Campbell has resigned as president and Jeffrey
F. Lowinski has been named as acting president.
According to an association news release, the WDMA board of directors determined
that at this time it was best to name an experienced industry leader like Lowinski
as its acting president rather than to advertise and permanently fill the opening
created by the resignation this month of its previous president.
Lowinski will take on the role of leading the administrative aspects of the
organization, as well as continuing his role as vice president of technology marketing.
He brings to his new position nearly three decades of association management experience
and industry technical expertise. Working together with WDMA members, Lowinski
will continue to help guide the day-to-day activities of the association's professional
staff and support WDMA's strategic direction.
