Wausau Window and Wall Systems®, based in Wausau, Wis., has
helped open the doors to St. Luke's Community House in West Nashville,
Tenn.
The 23,000-square-foot facility houses improved facilities for
a number of functions, including a preschool and infant and toddler
care, mobile meals and emergency food distribution.
Wausau contributed its 2250 Series windows to help support the
project that ultimately cost $5 million. The volunteers with glazing
contractor Alexander Metals handled the window installation.
"The windows are wonderful," said Carol Lynn McCarty,
development director with St. Luke's. "They are a marvelous
contribution and a great example of the kind of donations that
made this project possible."
