Leon Silverstein, president and chief executive officer of Arch Aluminum & Glass Co. Inc., has purchased shares in the United Glass Corporation (UGC), directly from a prior stockholder.

"I have purchased the shares personally in UGC as an investment opportunity with the intent of seeking to accumulate additional stock in UGC from other shareholders looking to gain liquidity on their investment," said Leon Silverstein.

The United Glass Corporation, headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, is comprised of five core companies located in the Midwest and Southeast regions of the United States and is engaged in the business of glass fabrication and distribution.
