United Glass Corp. of Louisville, Ky., has announced the appointment of Robert T. Cummings as vice president of sales. In this newly created position, Cummings will be responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing efforts of all UGC facilities. He will also coordinate the efforts of the inside sales team.

Cummings has been with PDC Glass and Metal Services Inc. for six years as corporate director of sales and vice president of sales. Prior to that he was with Standard Bent Glass Corp.

In addition, UGC has hired Randy Dornburgh and Scott Ogle as sales representatives covering Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Together they have 20 years of combined industry experience in glass, glazing, fabrication and manufacturing.

Albert Young was also promoted recently to outside sales representative covering Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Eastern Ohio. He has been with PDC Glass and Metal Services for ten years as a customer service representative, inside sales manager and project manager.
