Tubelite to Consolidate Corporate Office with Its Branded Products Group

Tubelite Inc., a Reed City and Grand Rapids-based architectural aluminum supplier to the glass and glazing industry, announced recently that it will consolidate its corporate office with its assembly, warehousing and distribution operations in Walker, Mich. The move is expected to be complete by the end of January 2007.

The consolidation will involve the company moving its Reed City-based corporate offices, including the company's client services, engineering, logistics, finance and administration groups to Walker, located 60 miles south. The company says the move is designed to further enhance information and process flow between its upstream functions and its downstream production and shipping operations.

The company expects all existing salaried personnel in the corporate office to continue in their current positions at the new location.

The consolidation will also provide for an expansion of the company's assembly, warehousing and distribution in the facility currently occupied in Walker.

The company's aluminum extrusion group, including its production and administrative functions, will remain in Reed City.
