Joining the worldwide outpouring of aid for South Asian tsunami victims, employees of Crystal Window & Door Systems, of New York City, have donated $10,000 toward relief efforts.

The money was contributed to U.S. Fund for UNICEF, and earmarked for the Tsunami Water and Sanitation Fund. During the month of January, nearly 100 employees contributed to the company's donation.

"Being a company comprised of immigrants from around the world, Crystal employees are very aware of and sympathetic to the victims of this calamity on the other side of the globe," said Steve Chen, vice president. "The Tsunami Water and Sanitation Fund was selected because we felt it would address an ongoing problem and thereby directly improve the daily lives of these people who have suffered and lost so much."
