Therma-Tru Appoints New VP, Marketing

Maumee, Ohio-based Therma-Tru announced today the appointment of Scott Phillips to the position vice president, marketing, effective June 15.

Phillips, who was previously both principal and founder of his previous employer SHP Consulting LLC., joins the Therma-Tru team after consulting for them with SHP. In addition to his work as a consultant, Phillips spent 16years with Whirlpool Corp. and had previously held management positions at Burger King and Comerica Bank.

"I am excited to join Therma-Tru at such a crossroads in their history. They have always been a strong trade brand within the building products and millwork industry," said Phillips.

Phillips is a Certified Management Accountant and member of both the American Marketing Association and the Product Development Management Association. He succeeds Hal Gardner, who left the company in early June to pursue other interests.
