Storm Front™ Now Offers Hurricane Grade Storefront and Entrance Systems in a Dry Glaze

The Storm Front™ system has been redesigned to eliminate the need for silicone when glazing. The IG500 and IG600 Storm Front™ systems from United States Aluminum have passed the stringent requirements of the Miami/Dade County protocol for maximum protection from high winds and wind borne debris. The system was large missile impact tested and structurally tested to 210 mph in independent laboratories. The sturdy two-and-a-half inch by five inch (2½"x5") framing, features screw spline assembly, a continuous sub sill and secondary water control. IG500 accepts nine-sixteenths inch (9/16") and IG600 accepts one-and-five-sixteenths inch (1 5/16") laminated glazing.

The Storm Front™ Entrance incorporates a patented one glazing bead design ensuring maximum protection at the entrance area. Standard corner construction includes heavy duty blocks and welding for maximum corner strength.
