The Solar Seal Company has announced plans to expand operations
by 20,000 square feet, bringing it close to 100,000 square feet
in total area.
"We are very excited about gaining some more warehouse and
manufacturing space," said Frederic Shaw, president. "We
plan to add a new Tamglass Super Convection tempering system by
the end of the summer, as well as adding a new cutting line, allowing
us to service our customers better with both higher quality and
quicker product turnaround than ever before."
According to the company's announcement, the new tempering line
will bring the maximum size glass Solar Seal can temper to 96-
by 180-inches. The company will also be able to temper 1/8-inch
Solar Seal also plans to unveil a new logo that will represent
its growth and expansion.
