SDC Technologies Inc. (SDC) of Anaheim, Calif., a supplier of functional surface technologies, coatings and materials that can be applied to a number of substrates, including glass, has announced it has been named the recipient of the 2005 Emerging Growth Award given by the Orange County Chapter of the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG).

William A. Gregg, president and chief executive officer, received the award on behalf of the company and its equity partner, The Compass Group International, during ACG's annual awards meeting.
