PPG Offers New Brochure on Certified Laminator Program

A brochure that describes its recently launched Certified Laminator Program is now available from PPG Industries. The PPG Certified Laminators are part of a nationwide network of glass fabricators who have been certified by PPG to produce laminated glass that includes their high-performance products such as Solarban 60 solar control low-E glass.

The four-page brochure provides information on the benefits of working with a PPG Certified Laminator, and also provides information on the annual audits program in which members must participate. The audits cover every aspect of production and service capability from initial glass storage to final packaging and shipping. In addition, there are strict procedures for glass cutting and seaming, PVB interlayer preparation and laminate assembly and processing, including heating, de-airing and autoclaving.

PPG Certified Laminators can also laminate glass in any thickness, in a variety of tints and coatings, and in array of shapes and sizes.
