Keith Shaffer, husband of Christine Shaffer, who is manager, marketing communications for Viracon, collapsed last Saturday night in Faribault, Minn., while playing hockey. In addition to his wife, the 41-year-old State Farm Insurance agent is survived by two young sons.

Shaffer was very active in his community and served on the board of the local American Cancer Society. He was also scheduled to be the next president of the Rotary Club.

Christine Shaffer described her husband as someone who kept everything in life in balance, including work, charity and especially his family.
