It appears Nippon Sheet Glass has resumed bidding for shares of Pilkington plc. EPT disclosure forms and a Rule 8.3 filed today with trading groups UBS, Citigroup GM and State Street Global respectively, indicate that Nippon has started the New Year off with a renewed interest in purchasing at least part of Pilkington in the form of ordinary equity/shares.
