Six NFRC Board Members Elected

The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) elected six members to serve on the organization's Board of Directors beginning in December.

Chuck Anderson of Simonton Windows was elected to serve in the fenestration industry/residential seat. Elaine Hebert of California Energy Commission was elected to sit for the general interest/code and regulatory category. Harry Misuriello with the Alliance to Save Energy was elected for the general interest/energy efficiency organization and Michael Thoman of Architectural Testing Inc. was elected in the laboratory category. Gary Curtis with The West Wall Group was elected to serve in the general interest (non-fenestration) category and Marcia Falke of Keystone Certifications Inc. was elected to the fenestration category (general).

The election was independently managed and certified by Survey & Ballot Systems Inc., which reported that 59.4 percent of eligible NFRC members cast votes in the election.

"The record participation rate is a sign of how committed our members are to the future success of the organization," said Jim Benney, NFRC's executive director.
