The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) has announced that Deborah
Callahan has joined the organization as its first deputy executive director. According
to the announcement, the new position was created to manage additional administrative
duties.
Callahan will be responsible for overseeing the NFRC's daily operations involving
finance and budgets, legal services, membership and meeting services, human resources
and information technology.
Callahan joins the NFRC from the National Association of Children's Hospitals
and Related Institutions where she served for more than eight years as the director
of management information services. Prior that position she served as the director
of education and information resources at the Foundation for Chiropractic Education
and Research.
She has a bachelor's degree from Wells College and a master's degree from George
Mason University. She is also a Certified Association Executive from the American
Society of Association Executives.
"Deborah brings new and fresh perspectives to the organization and we're
glad to have her aboard," said Jim Benney, NFRC's executive director.
