Technology Polycarbonate Sheet Line Delivers Best-in-Class Optics
and Durability
Sheffield Plastics Inc., a Bayer MaterialScience company, has announced
what it says is believed to be the largest and most technologically-advanced
polycarbonate sheet manufacturing line ever built. The new sheet
production line located in Sheffield, Mass., utilizes "state
of the art" process technology, and can produce sheet that
offers superior optical qualities.
The new line is fully operational, increasing manufacturing capacity
to assure a steady supply of products to a diverse and growing market,
according to the company.
