A Mother's Day special episode of ABC's "Extreme Makeover
Home-Edition," aired May 2, and featured the vanishing NanaWall,
which was donated by Nana Wall Systems. The NanaWall resembles
a floor-to-ceiling window and was used in two separate locations
of the home. In one application it was used to divide a bedroom
in half to make two bedrooms. It was also used in an exterior
application to open up the living room completely to the outside.
Completed in one week, the renovation was done on the home of
a single mother of nine children while they were away on a seven-day
cruise. Taking on the construction project was 100 workers and
members of the local community. Such a project normally would
have taken four to five months.
