The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has re-certified Chicago-based Republic Windows & Doors as a National Housing Quality (NHQ) Certified Trade Contractor for its installation program, the Republic Difference. According to the announcement, the certification demonstrates Republic's commitment to quality and high standards.

"We chose to make a commitment to this program because we felt that it was indicative of our responsibility to our customers and the homebuilding industry in general," said Alan Miretzky, Republic's vice president of new construction.

"The results have proven out our decision. It has made us better. While many of the practices called for by NHQ were already in place within the Republic Difference, the program has pushed us to an even higher level of formal and consistent practices."
