Edge & Tinney Architects Inc. of Dayton, Ohio won a merit award for facility design from the Air Force Material Command for its design of a building at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. The design includes Imagine Glass™, decorative architectural safety glass by Imagining Science.

The insulated glass units on the project incorporated Imagine Glass with Exact Registration, a process allowing graphics to be layered on top of one another in the decorative interlayer. The result is two different looks-one look for the interior glass and a different look for the exterior glass. The companies involved in the project chose a dot pattern that gives the appearance of a tinted window from the outside but appears white on the inside.
