DENSO Sales California Names New Senior Manager of Corporate Services

DENSO Sales California Inc., of Long Beach, Calif., has appointed Mike McConnell as the company's senior manager of corporate services, effective April 24, 2006.

In his new role, McConnell will direct the human resources, finance and accounting, business planning and corporate administration departments. He will work closely with the sales, technical service, aftermarket planning and material control groups to establish annual profitability objectives, and will help create strategies to achieve them.

"I am very pleased to join DENSO's team," said McConnell. "I look forward to working with each department to develop new processes that will further the company's growth and success."

Prior to joining DENSO, McConnell acted as financial controller of Teletrac, Inc., a leading supplier of wireless location information systems and devices. McConnell also spent more than 10 years as the chief financial officer of Kenwood Americas Corp., dealing with corporate affairs, international distribution, taxation and finance issues.
