Linetec Offers Online Coatings Course as an AIA/CES Program

Linetec of Wausau, Wis., has created a new online course titled "Introduction to Coatings: Field Performance and the Application Process," that is a registered online program through the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Continuing Education Systems (CES).

According to Linetec, the presentation is designed to help architects, contractors and other members of the building community better understand field performance and the application process of architectural coatings. The program explains the anodizing, painting and powder coating processes, describes specifications and compares the field performance of different architectural finishes.

"Fitting into architects' busy schedules, this self-guided program is available at their convenience, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year," said Jon Close, Linetec's director of commercial and architectural sales. "And the content remains online for future reference by all."
