Meltdown Glass and SAFTI First Offer Fire-Resistive Kiln Cast Glass

Meltdown Glass Art & Design of Chandler, Arizona and SAFTI First of San Francisco have formed a strategic partnership to offer fire-resistant kiln cast art glass.

According to the announcement, the companies have combined their expertise in design and technology to create this product without compromising the patented process or loss of function during a fire.

"This is an exciting time in the industry when aesthetics and technology are combined without a loss of performance or function," said SAFTI FIRST's company spokesperson Kathryn O'Keeffe.

"With this partnership, we can provide endless design possibilities for architects and interior designers, enabling them to create unique artistic spaces in a much wider variety of settings," said Meltdown's principal and art director BJ Katz.
