Skylights Names Peter Kroes Director of Marketing and Sales
Insula-Dome Skylights of Yaphank, N.Y., an East Coast manufacturer
of skylights and roof windows, has announced the appointment of
Peter Kroes as director of marketing and sales. He will replace
Artie Ortmann who has left the Insula-Dome organization.
Kroes
will be based in the company's new Chester, Conn., facility. In
his new role, Kroes will direct the company's outside sales force,
develop marketing strategies and implement new business development
initiatives. He previously served as a strategic partner consultant
to the company.
Kroes is best known for his long-term tenure as president and chief
executive officer (CEO) of Roto Frank of America in Chester, Conn.
In September 2005, the operating assets of Roto Frank of America's
roof window manufacturing division were acquired by, Insula-Dome
as part of a strategic business development and expansion plan led
by CEO Bill Stauffer. Subsequently, after a brief retirement, Kroes
was asked to join Insula-Dome in a consulting capacity.

of the nation, particularly along the Eastern Seaboard. With over
three decades of experience in the industry and a proven track record
in developing new markets, Peter is someone we are confident can
help advance this objective," said Stauffer.
