IBA Adds New Consultants to Its Team

IBA Consultants Inc., recently announced the addition of three members to its consulting team. Don DeGroot, a curtainwall expert, will be working out of Seattle, Wash.; James Cassell, a senior glazing consultant, will be working out of Las Vegas and serving the southwest areas; and Brian Keane, a registered roofing consultant, will be serving the northeast from New York to Washington D.C.,

DeGroot will be working out of the IBA offices in Seattle, and his territories will cover projects in Washington, Oregon, Northern California, other neighboring states and Canada. He has been working in the industry for 14 years, and worked on such projects as the World Trade Center North in Seattle, and the Seattle Exhibition Hall.

Cassell will be working in Las Vegas and providing consultation on exterior wall cladding testing and inspection. He has experience in construction defect litigation, as a union apprentice, foreman and entrepreneur. He is also a member of AAMA and the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).

Keane will be providing assistance to developers and contractors in the New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Boston areas primarily, while working out of the IBA offices in New York City. Keane has 15 years' experience in the areas of forensic investigation, siding and waterproofing testing and codes approval.
