Harmon Inc., headquartered in Golden Valley, Minn., has issued a press release stating that the company's Boynton Beach, Fla., office will provide hurricane impact resistant exterior glazing for a new, five-star, 25-story St. Regis Resort and Residence in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

With on-site work having begun in September 2004, an estimated 41,760 square feet of sliding glass doors and 39,100 square feet of newly developed, proprietary, hurricane-impact resistant HI-7000 Series pre-glazed, unitized curtainwall system are estimated by Harmon to be installed in time for an anticipated August 2005 grand opening.

The hotel was designed by Arquitectonica International of Miami and they, along with Facchina-McGaughan are working with Harmon to construct the 213-room resort and 29 condominimum residences.
