Harmon Inc., of Golden Valley, Minn., has announced the hiring of Andy Schoenecker as risk manager for the company. Schoenecker joins Harmon with 17 years experience in claims management, safety assessments and insurance procurement processing.

Previously with Apogee Enterprises Inc., Schoenecker also served as vice president of claims operations for Harm Solutions Group, a property and casualty claims outsourcing company created after Harmon Autoglass purchased VISN Service Corp., where he was working at the time.

Schoenecker is on the board of directors for the Minnesota Risk and Insurance Management Society, has earned a National Safety Council Advanced Safety Certificate and completed Six Sigma Champion training.
