Scott
Hanlon Joins NFRC as Laboratory Accreditation Program Manager
The National Fenestration Ratings Council (NFRC) has announced
that Scott Hanlon joined NFRC's staff on June 19 as its laboratory
accreditation program (LAP) manager, a newly created position.
Previously with National Certified Testing Laboratories (NCTL)
in York, Pa., Hanlon has more than 10 years experience in the fenestration
testing industry, particularly in simulations and thermal testing.
He is an NFRC certified simulator and has previously represented
NCTL at NFRC meetings.
Hanlon will manage the laboratory accreditation program, which
sets forth the requirements for testing and simulation laboratories
participating in NFRC's Certification Program. He will oversee its
documents and conduct annual laboratory inspections and evaluations.
To date, the responsibilities were shared by other members of the
NFRC. "Scott's experience and inside knowledge will be a valuable
asset to NFRC. We're glad to have him aboard," said Jim Benney,
NFRC executive director.
