Jim Gresehover, previously of Gentex Corp. in Holland, Mich., has been named director of International Development for Guardian Industries Corp. of Auburn Hills, Mich.

Gresehover will be in charge of exploring the company's overseas expansion opportunities of the glass, automotive and building products division, particularly in Asia.

Gresehover gained experience in this area while acting as director of Asian business and engineering for Gentex and while studying at the KIOI Institute in Tokyo where he received a Japanese language certificate. Gresehover also has a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Lawrence Technological University.

Also at Guardian, Amy Hennes has been named the new manager of corporate communications. She will be responsible for overseeing the company's public relations and communications activities.

Hennes worked previously as the senior director of marketing and media relations for the Detroit Regional Chamber where she was in charge of the Chamber's media planning and marketing strategy.

She is a graduate of the University of Michigan as well as the Institute for Organization Management and Leadership Detroit where she is still serves on the marketing committee.
