Peter Grandinetti Named Vice President of Procurement
at Silver Line Building Products Corporation
Silver
Line Building Products Corporation announced today that Peter Grandinetti
has been named the company's new vice president of procurement.
He is responsible for overseeing all of Silver Line's purchasing
operations including all activities for both corporate and their
local facilities.
Before joining the company, Peter served as the executive director
of purchasing at GAF Building Materials Corporation. For nearly
five years, he was directly responsible for negotiating the purchase
of all capital projects, materials, systems and services for 28
GAF facilities located throughout North America.
Prior to GAF, he held numerous senior-level purchasing positions
with American Cyanamid including Assistant Vice President of Purchasing
of the company's agricultural division. At Combustion Engineering
Inc., he also served the company in several managerial roles related
to project procurement and purchasing.
A resident of North Caldwell, New Jersey, Peter holds a bachelor's
of science degree in Biology from Rutgers College in New Brunswick,
NJ and also studied engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology
in Newark, NJ.
Silver Line was founded in 1947 and has manufacturing facilities
in New Jersey, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, Illinois
