GPD Gets Underway Tomorrow

Attendees are pouring into Tampere, the picturesque town in western Finland, for the newly renamed Glass Performance Days (GPD/Glass Processing Days). The official program gets underway tomorrow afternoon, but a series of workshops are being held today and tomorrow morning.

All the hotels in town are booked and people from all over the globe are setting in the cafes with colleagues discussing various industry issues. Approximately 1,000 people are expected for GPD, which runs through Monday. This is the 10th edition of the every-other year event.
