So You Think You Know What GPD Stands For
June 14-17 is the date for the 10th anniversary of the biennial educational
event held in Tampere, Finland, GPD. With Jorma Vitkala's energetic
promotion since the event became established, you know what GPD
stands for, right? Glass Processing Days.
Not any more. GPD has a new name: Glass Performance Days.
"The new name better explains the totality of the program,"
says Vitkala. "Architects are and scientists interested in
the performance of glass, but not the processing of the glass, so
this change addresses the scope of the program."
See you in Tampere June 14-17 for Glass Performance Days.
