Fiona Hall to Speak at GPD

GPD recently announced that Fiona Hall, a member of the European Parliament representing the North East of England, will be a member of the grand panel of opening speakers for the conference.

Hall will join Tomoaki Abe of Nippon Sheet Glass, Russell J. Ebeid of Guardian Industries and Arthur Ulens of AGC Flat Glass & Glaverbel on the grand panel.

Hall has been a member of the European Parliament since 2004, and serves on the Industry Research and Energy (ITRE) and Development Committees. Additionally, Hall is a recent appointee to the position European Parliament "Rapporteur" on the European Commission Energy Efficiency Action Plan.

This year's GPD will take place from July 17 -20 in Tampere, Finland.
