Glass Worker Crushed to Death on Job Site

A glass worker, who sources told USGNN worked for Glass Systems Inc. in Orlando, Fla., died yesterday at a Welbro Construction job site in Orange County, Florida, when a stack of framed glass windows fell on top of him. Another worker with the same company was also seriously injured.

According to the Orlando station WFTF, the two men were in a trailer counting windows when the accident happened.

Bruce Holmes with Welbro said it appeared to be a "freak accident," as "something just went awry" while the men were working.

Neither Glass Systems Inc. nor Welbro was available for comment at press time.
