Glasstech Inc., a Perrysburg, Ohio-based manufacturer of glass bending and tempering equipment, recently held the grand opening of its representative sales office in Shanghai, China.

Glasstech Shanghai is expected to serve as the focal point of activity for Glasstech sales and service in China. Located in the Pudong district, the office was established in 2004.

The company has been supplying advanced glass processing systems to Chinese glass companies for nearly 25 years, a company press release about the event stated.

"The Grand Opening celebration was a wonderful way to officially open the Shanghai sales office," said Mark Christman, Glasstech's president. "We are thrilled so many Glasstech customers, executives and government officials were in attendance. We were very encouraged to see what a positive impact the office is having on Glasstech's business in a very short period of time."
