New glasstec 2006: E-Tickets for Visitors

For the first time, visitors can attend the glasstec trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany using an "e-ticket"-an admission ticket that can be ordered online and printed out at home. At the website www.glasstec.de, visitors are guided step by step through the uncomplicated order process. In addition to avoiding the lines at the ticket counters on-site, the e-tickets cost less than traditional admission tickets. glasstec will be held from October 24 - 28, 2006 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Also new at www.glasstec.de is the "Matchmaking" project, which provides users with the possibility to contact exhibitors with an enquiry. This can include questions about products, special requirements, measurements or techniques. The "Matchmaking" feature is based on a voluntary exchange of information between interested users - no e-mails are generated but the exhibitors are notified of the respective enquiries via a special menu feature.
