glasstec 2006, the 19th International Trade Fair for Machinery, Equipment, Applications and Products, will take place October 24-28 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. Show organizers expect more than 1,000 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors from around the world to attend. Exhibit categories at glasstec will include glass manufacturing and production technology, glass processing and finishing, tools and replacement parts as well as process control technology, glass applications in the construction industry, solar energy, electronic display glass and laser technologies. Special presentations and a symposium will take place as well. In 2004 glasstec featured 1,088 exhibitors from 45 countries and 54,000 visitors from 81 countries.
