glasstec 2004 got its start today in Dusseldorf, Germany. More than 1,000 exhibitors from around the world are taking part in this year's event. Attendance figures for the length of the show are expected to be approximately 65,000.

Companies taking part in glasstec 2004 are offering a range of products for the entire glass industry. Product offerings include glass, hardware and-more than anything else-machinery. Machinery and equipment companies dominate much of the show's floor space. Tempering ovens, cutting lines, edgers, drills and many more machine lines are being demonstrated throughout the day.
