The Glass Association of North America's Glass Fabrication 2005 educational
seminar is going strong at the Monte Carlo in Las Vegas. More than 130 people
involved in various aspects of glass fabrication are taking part in the event.
The program is designed for those individuals who are relatively new to the glass
industry working in tempering, insulating or laminating processes.
Topics on the schedule include float glass technology, understanding and maintaining
a glass washer, tempering concepts, protective glazing, industry standards and
more.
Each morning consists of a general session that covers a broad scope of industry
presentations. The afternoon activities are divided into three breakout sessions
that focus solely on tempering, insulating and laminating procedures. The program
is designed to educate and inform those individuals who are handling and working
with glass on a daily basis.
