Glass Doctor of Metro Atlanta Technician Wins National Award for Glass Repair Excellence

Glass Doctor named Billy Culpepper of the Glass Doctor of Metro Atlanta franchise the National Service Professional of the Year during its 2010 Annual Reunion Conference in San Antonio. The Service Professional of the Year Award is presented to the glass services professional technician who has a history of consistently high sales and add-on sales percentage, as well as excellent technical expertise and superior customer satisfaction. Culpepper was nominated for the award by Jim Bernstein, owner of the Glass Doctor of Metro Atlanta franchise.

“Billy has embraced the Glass Doctor system in every way, and it shows in his performance,” Bernstein said in his nomination. “He is always ready to help my business, my employees, our customers and even peers in other franchises.”

In 2009, Glass Doctor of Metro Atlanta added shower door and tub enclosure installation to its menu of services. Because of his technical expertise and customer service, Culpepper was instrumental in the success of the new product launch. This year, the franchise added ClearChoice glass protectant, and Culpepper has led the implementation of that service as well. On a national level, Culpepper helped Glass Doctor improve its service vehicles as a consultant on the design of a safer, more efficient glass storage system design by Sortimo, which debuted last year.

“As our lead flat glass technician, Billy has been an effective leader helping his teammates while continuing to excel in his own customer service, sales and installation,” Bernstein said. “I remember when he joined us in 2003 he said he wanted to expand his horizons and help build our business, and he has certainly achieved that and more.”
