Expo Rocky Mountain '06 Worth the Wait
It took four years, but Glass Expo Rocky Mountain '06 returned to the Denver
Rockies and was well received by attendees of the event; weather ranging from
60 degrees to four inches of snow didn't stop people from all across Colorado,
Kansas, New Mexico, Arkansas, Washington, Idaho and even Canada from walking through
the front doors of the convention center at the Holiday Inn at Denver International
Airport over the course of January 19-20.
Glass Expo Rocky Mountain '06 was co-sponsored by the Colorado Glazing Contractors
Association (CGCA), USGlass and AGRR magazines. Approximately 600 attendees were
welcomed to the event with a great lineup of educational seminars and a show floor
full of exceptional exhibitors. Both the auto and architectural glass industries
were represented on the show floor, as they were in the seminar lineup.
Attendees were also treated to a complimentary cocktail party sponsored by
the Colorado Glazing Contractors Association.
This was great! The event went really well and the amount of attendees that filled
the show floor and the seminar rooms, both days, was more than we expected,"
said Rebecca Kaspari, CGCA Executive Director when asked how she felt the show
did for the region.
