Glass Expo Midwest Presenter to Discuss how Glass
Companies Can Benefit from Energy Efficiency and LEED

Glass Expo Midwest 2010 is set to take place March 16-17 at the Renaissance
Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center in Schaumburg, Ill., just outside of
Chicago. The event will offer a variety of informational, educational and networking
opportunities designed specifically for the entire glass industry. For those working
with architectural glass, a specially created seminar program features a number
of presentations, all focusing on some of the industry's timeliest topics.
The increasing emphasis on energy efficiency as it relates to glass and glazing
is just one topic that's becoming more and more important. To address this point,
Tom Minnon with YKK AP with present "Energy Codes and LEED: Learn How to
Benefit from Both." Building codes are an essential part of the architectural
glass business, and attendees will learn how they can succeed in using them to
benefit their businesses and their clients. The presentation will also cover how
glass and glazing elements can help a project earn LEED credits, as well. The
seminar will take place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16.
