The Glass Association of North America has announced that Bob Larson of Craftsman
Fabricated Glass is the new chair of the insulating division. His term began August
1 and he replaces Arthur Berkowitz, who had served as the interim division chair.
"In the two short years that this division has been operating, I'm pleased
with the tremendous support of our members, the educational activities of the
division, which include the Glass Fabrication Educational Seminars, and the various
technical activities that are already underway," said Larson. "More
importantly, I look forward to serving the division as it continues to grow and
serve the commercial insulating glass market."
Larson began his career with Craftsman in 1990 as an outside sales representative.
In 1993 he was promoted to divisional manager of Royal Door and soon after took
over responsibility for the brake shapes and aluminum divisions. He became vice
president of operations in 1999 and today serves as vice president of sales and
marketing.
