The Glass Association of North America (GANA) has announced the release of
an educational paper titled The Commercial Fenestration Industry's Development
of Energy-Efficient Products by its NFRC liaison committee. The paper provides
an educational overview of the commercial fenestration industry's continuous efforts
to develop and promote energy-efficient products in response to marketplace demands.
The paper will be offered to the NFRC board of directors during the group's
summer conference that will take place July 24-28 in Quebec City, Quebec.
"This educational paper is the result of a close look at the commercial
fenestration industry's history of developing solutions to the increased need
for energy-efficient products," said Stan Smith, GANA executive vice president.
"We believe the paper offers insight into the evolution of fenestration products,
the commercial construction supply structure and the needs of this segment of
the industry."
The paper will be available for download from the GANA website, www.glasswebsite.com,
on Friday, July 29, 2005.
