GANA Releases Flat Glass Industry Specifications Informational Bulletin

The Glass Association of North America (GANA) has released the sixth and latest in a series of glass informational bulletins geared toward providing technical information and education to the architectural fenestration industry. The bulletin, titled Flat Glass Industry Specifications, provides a listing of current editions of industry consensus and federal flat glass standards that are specified and referenced frequently for use in residential and commercial construction applications in the United States.

"We developed this bulletin in order to provide architects, specifiers and members of our industry a single resource that will keep them up-to-date on current industry standards," said Greg Carney, GANA technical director. "Construction specifications often reference out-of-date standards. We hope this bulletin will increase awareness of the flat glass industry standards and serve as a tool to ensure the current editions are referenced."

GANA plans to update the bulletin whenever revisions are published for any of the listed standards. The bulletin can be downloaded for free at www.glasswebsite.com.
