The insulating division of the Glass Association of North America (GANA) has announced the addition of Jim Benney, executive director of the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC), to the Glass Week 2005 schedule. Benney will address the insulating division on Monday, February 7 at 8 a.m. on the NFRC's move into non-residential product and component certification. He will field questions regarding the potential impact of new certification efforts.

"During our 2004 Fall Conference, insulating division members discussed the current NFRC activities and a number of questions were raised about the details of how their new certification efforts will impact glass fabricators and insulating glass component suppliers," said Greg Carney, GANA technical director. "We are pleased that Mr. Benney has accepted our invitation to update our members and to discuss the issues in person."
